I love love LOVE wrapping gifts that I have spent forever thinking about and planning. I love working out what people need or remembering something amazing a friend or family member has mentioned months ago just so I can go and surprise them with it in December - but what I love the most is wrapping it. Every Christmas I try and beat my wrapping efforts from the previous year. This year has to be my favourite so far! Hot pink, turquoise and gold. How can you beat that?!
I don't believe you need to pay a fortune to make a gift look a million bucks. I shop at cheap stores, shop the sales and go through my sewing and scrap boxes every year to come up with my theme. The photo above is a collection of my wrapping essentials for this year.
• Geo and pixel paper and polka dot paper bags from Typo
• Gold decorations from numerous cheap stores - I love a bargain!
• MT tape - my favourite! I picked my turquoise dots up from Nook
• Ribbons, sequin strings and ric rac from Spotlight and recycled from gifts
Once you've collected your bits and pieces, get to work!
